How to Setup BulletVPN L2TP Manually on Windows 8
1. Right click on "Lan / Wifi icon" from System tray and select "Open Network and Sharing Center".
2. Click on "Set up a new connection or network".
3 Click on "Connect to a workplace" and click "Next".
4 Click on "Use my Internet connection (VPN)".
5. Insert the following info:
- You can choose one of our servers from the list here.
- Insert destination name as "BulletVPN".
- Check "Remember my credentials".
- Check "Allow other people to use this connection".
- Click "Create"
6. Click on "Change Adapter Settings" from the "Network and Sharing Center". right click on 'PureVPN L2TP connection', select 'Properties'.
7. Right click on 'BulletVPN connection', select 'Properties'.
8.Click on Security tab and select "Layer 2 Tunneling protocol with IPsec (L2TP/IPsec)" from "Type of VPN" drop down menu.
9. Click on 'Advanced Settings' then select "Use preshared key for authentication" and insert "bulletVPN" in Key box.
10. Select "Optional encryption (connect even if no encryption)" from “Data encryption” drop down menu.
11. Insert the following info:
- Click on “Networking” tab.
- Uncheck "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)" and "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks".
- Click "OK".
12. Click on Wifi / Lan icon from System tray.
13. Click on "BulletVPN" connection and click "Connect".
14. Insert your "Username and Password" provided by BulletVPN then Click "OK".
15. VPN connection will establish after verifying account details.
16. You are connected now.
17. To disconnect VPN, click on Lan / Wifi icon from System tray. Click on VPN connection and click "Disconnect".
